Rhodes Joins IPC as Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts
Sales and Technology Executive Tapped to Grow Business and Help Drive Innovation
New York, NY - IPC Information Systems Inc. today announced that it has appointed Lisa Rhodes to the position of senior vice president, strategic accounts, where her skills in handling complex sales and managing large-scale technology projects will be used to expand relationships within IPC's largest global accounts and identify new strategic account prospects.Rhodes joins IPC from Boston-based Sycamore Networks, where she was director of sales and business development.During her tenure with Sycamore, Rhodes developed a channel strategy that accelerated penetration of new markets, expanded the sales pipeline in strategic accounts, and secured large optical switching contracts.She will report to Mike Sheehan, managing director of IPC Global Sales.

Rhodes has a unique background as both a technologist and sales executive that will enable her to provide truly consultative support to IPC customers and to feed back actionable marketplace intelligence to IPC.Prior to Sycamore Networks, Rhodes held senior positions for Lucent Technologies and MCI Telecommunications in national and global account sales.Rhodes has been recognized throughout her career for consistently breaking revenue growth goals.
