Dr. Kathryn Rhodes

Dr. Kathryn Rhodes, Research Associate, currently is in private practice as a clinical social worker in Chattanooga, Tennessee.Her research interest is in family foster care, and especially issues concerning the retention of foster families.She also is working on the development of a semi-structured interview for use with family foster care applicants, and several other family foster care projects.Her recent publications include articles on foster parents' role performance and foster family retention.She also has a number of recent presentations at national conferences on family foster care.In addition to her research experience, Dr. Rhodes has extensive practice experience with families and children, including work with foster families and children and adolescents in foster care.
