   That's fairly large for a Black Angus herd, according to Susan Rhode, a spokeswoman for the American Angus Association in Missouri. "He's in it for real," she says.
   
   Tinter's herd is mostly breeding stock and much of his time is taken up planning which bulls will mate with which cows, then figuring with whom their offspring will mate when it's their turn.
