Rhoades is WREC district manager
Tim Rhoades has been named district manager for Warren Rural Electric Cooperative's Leitchfield office, replacing longtime employee Louis Alvey, who retired May 13 after 47 years with the co-op.

Rhoades assumed his new duties on June 3, according to Mike Eastridge, Warren RECC's vice president of operations.

Rhoades, a 24-year employee, began in the Bowling Green Engineering Department as a pole inspector's helper in 1978.He joined the Operations Department in 1979 as a utility man and advanced in his professional career as an apprentice lineman, lineman and lead lineman until being named to his new position in May.
The Warren County native and his wife Scarlette will move to Grayson County in the near future, where he will be responsible for the daily operations of the Leitchfield office that has some 30 employees serving over 12,000 homes and businesses in Grayson and northern Edmonson counties.
