Laurie Rhoades, LICSW

Laurie Rhoades has extensive experience providing outpatient psychotherapy and clinical consultation to staff and students in a broad range of public and private settings.As a trainer, her experience includes presenting numerous seminars on issues such as stress management, workplace diversity, substance abuse, domestic violence and single parenting.Laurie is particularly skilled in working with diverse populations, and utilizes her formal training and practice in meditation to help people successfully manage periods of high stress and change.

Laurie has a Masters Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.She was the Coordinator of the Addiction Services Department for the Boston Public Health Commission and a Certified Field Instructor for Boston University and Ohio State University Schools of Social Work.

Laurie Rhoades, LICSW, provides on-site clinical consultation at the Career Center of Lowell through the New Perspectives program of the Division of Career Services/Division of Unemployment Assistance (DCS/DUA).
