At Lafayette 7, assistant manager John Rhoades said Friday's the first screening at noon is sold out, as is the 7:10 p.m. show. Advance ticket sales began in October.
"At first, the public wasn't aware, but as weeks passed, things have gotten more frantic and tickets more in demand," Rhoades said.
