General surgeon, Mehdi Ressallat, MD, has extensive experience in all types of surgery - open and laparoscopic gallbladder, appendectomy, breast biopsy, masectomy, D & C, hysterectomy, hernia repairs, colon surgeries, and endoscopy (EGD and colonoscopy).

Dr. Ressallat has provided general, thoracic and gynecological services in Crawford and Richland counties since opening his practice in Galion (OH).He completed his surgical residencies at Aultman and Mercy Hospitals in Canton (OH) and was the Chief Resident in Surgery at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo (NY).Dr. Ressallat was a preceptor in Thoracic Surgery at Mr. Carmel Medical Center and Grant Medical Center in Columbus (OH), and completed a Fellowship in Thoracic Surgery at The Ohio State University Hospitals in Columbus (OH).He has held many professional offices and is a lifetime member of the Ohio State Medical Association.
