David Reiner joined Grosvenor Investment Management US's (GIM) predecessor company in 2003. He is responsible for the development of new investment strategies and funds for GIM investors. He is also responsible for fund raising, marketing, investor relations and reporting. Prior to joining GIM, David was a Managing Director of Legg Mason Real Estate Investors, Inc.

He has 21 years of commercial real estate investment experience.

David received his B.A. degree from the University of South Carolina and a J.D. degree from George Mason University.

From 1987 to 1993, Mr. Reiner was Senior Vice President of CRI, Inc. a national real estate investment company.At CRI he was the head of the company's capital markets and international divisions, with oversight of over $750 million in internationally owned US commercial real estate.

Mr. Reiner received his B.A. from the University of South Carolina and a law degree from the George Mason University.He also completed graduate work at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University) and the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.He began his career as an appointee in the Office of the Secretary in the US Department of Treasury.Later he was an associate with the Washington, DC law firm of Bishop Cooke Purcell & Reynolds (now Winston & Strawn).Mr. Reiner serves on the boards of several charitable organizations and regularly contributes articles to a number of real estate and finance periodicals.
