James Reed is a Phoenix lawyer who chaired the State Bar's accessibility subcommittee. He says the surveys found there's still room for improvement in many courthouses but that it was apparent that court officials are trying.

State Supreme Court Justice Michael Ryan served on the subcommittee and was a member of the team that surveyed the State Courts Building in Phoenix. He says the surveys found many solutions that are already in place to benefit all those who use courthouses, including judges, lawyers, jurors, witnesses and litigants.
