James C. Reed joined Luigino's as the Executive Vice President, Operations in September of 2001.Mr. Reed has over 30 years experience in the Food Processing Industry.Prior to joining LUIGINOS INC, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of Empire Kosher Poultry in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania.Before joining Empire, Mr. Reed spent ten years with Con-Agra in various senior level management positions.

Reporting to Jay Lieberman will be Joseph A. DePippo, President--Sales, Marketing and Chicken Operations and James C. Reed, President of Turkey Operations.

Jim Reed brings more than 30 years of experience in the food industry to the Milo's Board of Advisors.In addition to helping CEO Jonathan Milo Leal line up outside financing, he is using his considerable experience to help Milo's with everything from production efficiencies to financial forecasting.

Mr. Reed most recently was the executive vice president for operations at Luigino's.There he was responsible for all operations functions including manufacturing at three production facilities, warehouse management, purchasing, transportation/logistics, engineering, and co-pack operations.Luigino's is the nation's largest processor of value frozen entrées under the Michelina's and Budget Gourmet brands.

Prior to that appointment, he was the executive vice president and chief operating officer for Empire Kosher Poultry, the largest kosher poultry company in the world.There, Mr. Reed managed the company and its more than 600 products from near bankruptcy to a sale earning investor nearly four time equity.The top line was increased 25% while annual costs were reduced in excess of $12 million.

Mr. Reed has also been the director of the Butterball Turkey Company, where he was responsible for operations and distribution at numerous poultry processing facilities located throughout the United States.He has his BS from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Wharton Business School.
