Diane Pape Reed, a 16-year veteran of the CU movement and an award-winning marketer and credit union trainer, has been named the Virginia League's 2002 Professional of the Year.
Reed is Vice President of Administration at Arlington Virginia FCU where she oversees the marketing, human resources, training, and business development functions of the organization.
"I love credit unions," said Diane."We should be proud of the work we do for our members and our communities."
Reed has served as a featured presenter for both the Virginia and D.C. Leagues in the areas of marketing, development of a sales/service culture, and training.
She continues to contribute to her credit union's growth with innovative training and service programs designed to help staff excel in member service.
She also remains active in a number of community organizations and has been active in many community service projects in Northern Virginia.
Reed has also earned the Credit Union Executive Society's marketing designation.
Arlington VA FCU has also benefitted from Reed's diverse background, which includes marketing, accounting, computer science, sociology, and training.
