The visit comprised a lecture from James Read, a PHD student from Cardiff University, who talked about the wildlife found on Cardiff Bay.This was followed by an hour long boat trip aboard the 'Lewis Alexander' more used to the turbulent waters of the Bristol Channel - delivering visitors to Flatholme Island which can be seen from Cardiff Bay Barrage.
