Since joining Pifer, Jim has designed and supervised the installation of hundreds of computer and communications networks.Many of these systems are interfaced to data hosts including BiSys, EDS, FiServ, OSI, Jack Henry, Kirschman and NCR, as well as directly to the Federal Reserve Banks nationwide.He has been instrumental in assisting financial institutions redesign their P.O.D. and check imaging operations. Jim is a member of numerous local and national financial and trade associations and carries certifications from Novell, Cisco and Microsoft.He has been a featured speaker for the Financial Managers Society,s national, regional and local conventions, New Jersey Bankers Association, South Jersey Banker,s Association, Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers and Burlington County Bankers Association.His writing on Network Security has been published in the New Jersey Banker magazine.He is also a semi-professional motor sports photographer.His photos have been published in Area Auto News, Speedway Scene, Trackside, Circle Track, and Courier-Post.Jim and his wife Barbara live in Deptford, New Jersey.
