Aftermarket logistics expert Nick Rayner is to head up Unipart Automotive as part of senior management changes at Unipart Automotive, the UK chain of car, van and commercial vehicle aftermarket parts, panels, components and accessories suppliers.

Nick has been running Unipart Aftermarket Logistics for the past nine years; UAL handles the entire global Jaguar aftermarket parts supply chain as well as logistics for Unipart Automotive.

In his new role, Nick will report directly to Unipart Group Chief Executive John Neill as Chris Etherington is leaving Unipart.

Nick Rayner, who heads the Unipart business team that is dedicated to Jaguar, explained to Prince Michael that Jaguar has made a 10 year commitment work with UGC as its global partner parts distribution, along with other commercial services.

When the UK contract was renewed, DCM has also been awarded a number of additional Jaguar contracts - in Europe and North America.

Nick Rayner explained how the knowledge management system can be accessed by everyone so that new approaches can be discussed ‘live', and new knowledge can be applied globally at a very fast pace.These IT benefits have been extended to Jaguar dealers through the benefits gained from the new ULS computer system.
