   Olive was born in Minto, New Brunswick where she attended school and graduated with honours in 1974. Although raised by a Christian mother, during her teenage years she rebelled and began down a path of self-destruction which led to choices that created a life of pain for her and those around her. In April of 1991, Olive surrendered her broken life to Christ.
   
   As her new life began to unfold, Olive became involved in the church she attended teaching Sunday School and working in the nursery. She also volunteered in the Oromocto Public Hospital on the Extended Care Unit. Olive has also been licensed as a Special Care Home Operator and for many years was a member of the New Brunswick Foster Families Association, fostering special needs children.
   
   Graduating from Atlantic Business College with a Paralegal Degree, Olive went on to work in the field and established her own business which she operated until 2006. Since 1995, Olive has been involved in prison ministry, facilitated "Overcomers" and "12 Step Groups" and has graduated from St. Stephen University with a Diploma in Community Corrections. Olive is a licensed member of ACOP.
   
   Olive has been blessed with a heart of mercy for those who seem to have lost hope and enjoys sharing her testimony of the changing power of Jesus Christ. In 2004 Olive founded God Is Able Ministries and in 2005 established a recovery home for women with addictions. She has appeared on the television program 100 Huntley Street as well as Christian radio. Olive has shared her vision through churches, retreats, women's groups, and newspaper articles.
   
   She is a faithful member of Smythe Street Cathedral and lives in Lakeville Corner with her husband Jacques and their son Jacob. Olive also has an older son, Jeremy, who resides in Fredericton with his wife Barbie.
