Gene Raymond is one bad Mamma Jamma of a vocal coach!I personally witnessed the immediate results of his work.
    ...
I studied voice with Gene Raymond for several months preparing for a very important audition.Gene teaches the "Seth Riggs" vocal technique and I can't praise him enough for showing me a way to use my voice to reach the high notes that I have always been holding back.He helped me get through "my breaks" with ease and now I feel very comfortable and I am no longer fearful to go for it.I auditioned for the role I wanted and got it.I feel very confident recommending Gene Raymond as a wonderful voice teacher; he's patient, supportive and very giving.
    ...
I've studied this technique for about 3 months on my own and then started to study with Gene Raymond, a coach in this style of vocal training.Gene has helped me discover how to transition between my chest voice and head voice more fluently and naturally.
    ...
I'm totally amazed each time I leave from a day of working with Gene Raymond. He helps me recognize my weaknesses and then walks me through a variety of vocal exercises that instantly improve my vocal range. As if that isn't enough to absolutely adore him, the best part is seeing how excited he gets when I finally hit the notes I'm trying for.Gene Raymond is an outstanding teacher.
    ...
I met Gene after I had been singing seriously for about 10 years. When I decided that I wanted to be a professional singer I was encouraged by many teachers. However, after a few years of study, I developed a quivery vibrato and lost the depth of my voice. When I met Gene, and began to study Speech Level Singing, we discovered that I had compensated for a large break in my voice by singing only in my head voice.By carefully relearning my warm ups and by reworking my repertoire, Gene and I have rediscovered the full quality of my voice.Thank you so much Gene.
    ...
When I came to Gene, I had many years of frustrating trials of trying to be a decent rock vocalist.I fronted a band in Austin that gigged on a regular basis and found myself getting tired and hoarse within the first few songs on the set list.Always struggling to reach high's and sing in key with ease, I often became discouraged and wondered if I was cut out to be a lead vocalist. But in as little as a few sessions with Gene, I began to see and hear an incredible difference in the tone and overall control of my singing voice. With diligence, I stayed with it, and it wasn't long before I was singing notes, that only weeks earlier, I wouldn't have bothered even trying to sing.My range dramatically increased, and now I am more confident in my singing ability than ever!I can hardly wait to get back into the studio , and on stage, and put this technique to work like never before.I would say to anyone considering speech level singing with Gene to go for it.

Consultant Gene Raymond suggested the WRSDC consider putting its final two or three choices before voters as separate warrant articles, and scheduling a second town meeting if the first one fails to win the required two-thirdsÕ voter approval.

"IÕd hate to see you go with one, lose it and have to go back to study [the facilities issue] and lose another year as it gets more and more expensive as state reimbursements [drop]," Raymond said.He said it is important for the region to obtain approval for a project by December, to have an architect on board by early January and to "get into line" on the stateÕs June 1 building assistance reimbursement list.

S& H consultant Gene Raymond said the firm would supply a number of financial options for the school committee, with the feasible building scenarios.

The options they will consider for the district are one new school, two schools of the same size, two schools of unequal size with comparable programs, two schools with different specialized programs, and renovating/expanding the present building as part of a one-school or two-school option.

Raymond said their plan is to nail down the enrollment/demographic data, create a baseline program/curriculum plan the school committee agrees to, and then go to the public when they have narrowed the field to the three best options.

Daley and S & H consultant Gene Raymond said their firm is trying to guide the school committee to the best viable option by eliminating the least-likely ones, but they can come back and reconsider a "rejected" option when they start talking about the financial aspects of the final choices.
