   Charles Raymond has over forty years of experience operating government agencies, not for profit organizations and Corporate Foundations.In the process, he has developed a strong knowledge base in financial planning, strategic planning, program development, fund raising, governance and program assessment and evaluation.During his career he has been a leader in developing innovative programs in the areas of housing, homelessness, education, job training, financial education and the arts.He has worked with a number of businesses, families and individuals helping them get involved in both philanthropy and social investments through a process that is tailored to the needs and concerns of the client.
   
   From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Raymond was a Managing Director and Senior Philanthropic Advisor for Citigroup's Family Office and Citigroup's Private Bank.He provided advice and counsel to corporations, families and individuals who wanted to get engaged in directing some of their resources to philanthropy and social investments.Over the years, he has established strong relationships with numerous not for profits and NGO's around the world and has a wealth of knowledge regarding trends in a number of economic, social and health related fields.
   
   Mr. Raymond was President of the Citigroup Foundation from 1998 to 2005.The Foundation was created through the merger of Travelers and Citicorp and became a 100 million dollar international grant program, operating in 90 countries.Prior to assuming this position, he was President of the Travelers Foundation.During his time at Travelers Group, Mr. Raymond also held assignments as Chief Administrative Officer for the Law Departments as well as Vice President for Training and Operations.
   
   Mr. Raymond has held various positions prior to joining Travelers Group, including: Commissioner of the NYC Department of Homeless Services; Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Department of Housing, Preservation and Development; and Managing Director of the New York City Ballet.
   
   Mr. Raymond received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and attended graduate school at Syracuse University and New York University.Mr. Raymond serves on the Board of Directors of the Bowery Residents' Committee, The After School Corporation, Civic Capital Corporation, TOUCH Foundation and The Posse Foundation.
