Mary Rayme is a graphic designer and arts educator with a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore.

Determined to be a librarian (or at least someone swimming in books) Mary worked in the libraries of the Baltimore Museum of Art and Johns Hopkins University.Later, Mary was lured by the idea of a bigger paycheck to work in the field of publishing & advertising in Baltimore then later in Philadelphia.

On a crazy whim to get back to the woods, Mary moved to the Potomac Highland region of West Virginia in 1999 and started her own design studio.
    ...
Mary works as a grants writer and administrator for the Staunton-Parkersburg Turnpike Alliance (in beautiful downtown Beverly, West Virginia), walks her dog Carlos on a beautiful bike path, and spends all winter thinking about the incredibly beautiful WV summers that are too short.Thinking about art, visiting museums, and writing about art occupy her brain most of the time.
