Mr. Ray is the practice area leader for Porter Wright's state and local tax practice and concentrates his practice in the area of state and local taxes with a particular emphasis on the major Ohio taxes affecting businesses, tax dispute resolution and multistate tax planning.In addition to assisting clients with state and local tax disputes, he develops multistate tax planning strategies for various industries resulting in significant recurring savings.He also manages large, multioffice projects supporting various mergers and acquisitions.Mr. Ray represents clients before county Boards of Revision, the Ohio Board of Tax Appeals and upon appeal to the courts.

Mr. Ray is currently an Adjunct Professor at Capital University Law and Graduate Center for Tax law.
