In the capacity as chief of staff, Dr. Ray will serve as a voting member of the Emanuel County Hospital Authority.

Sen. Jack Hill, Peggy Corbin, Administrative Director Emanuel Medical Center Recover Program, and James L. Ray, MD, Medical Director Emanuel Medical Center Recovery Program met last week to discuss options for future funding of the program that is slated to close March 31, 2006.

On Wednesday, Dec. 22, we received word from Dr. James L. Ray, medical director at Emanuel Medical Center Recovery Program, that our facility would remain open and functioning as is throughout the month of January 2005.
