    Dan Rather '53 -- A three-year boarding student who later graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Mr. Rather has served McCallie in many capacities through the years, including the Board of Visitors and the Board of Advisors.He received the school's Alumni Achievement Award in 1998.He is very active in the Atlanta community, where he is Executive Vice President of Carter & Associates.He lives in Atlanta with wife Ginny.
