Tim came on board on 6 December to assist with procedural development and start up activities with the remainder of the team starting in January/February.
Administrator position and skatepark, climbing supervisory positions and café staff will be actioned in December/January.
Tim Rankin - Joining us from a Duty Officer position with Aberdeenshire Council - Tim has extensive experience of leisure facility management in the Grampian area, including stints at the Beach Leisure Centre, Kincorth Sports Centre, Torry, Westburn Tennis Centre etc.
An accomplished climber time, Tim will be well known to many in the climbing community and also for his contributions to local climbing guides and his own respected guide to the boulders at Portlethen ...available from all good bookshops, or at least from Tim!
After work, Tim takes the direct route home to Portlethen

Together with Tim and the support of advisory board members this ensures a knowledgeable and strong climbing culture in the centre.
