Susan B. Rankin is Of Counsel in the Estates and Trusts, Corporate and Tax Departments of Williams Coulson.

Ms. Rankin practices in the areas of tax, business, and estate planning and estate administration, as well as general corporate and business matters. She regularly designs, drafts and implements various estate planning techniques and counsels owners of closely held businesses and other executives and professionals in related transactional matters. Ms. Rankin also assists individuals with charitable planning techniques and represents tax exempt and charitable organizations.

Ms. Rankin has been involved in various other business and tax planning activities and transactions for corporations, limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships, business trusts, small business corporations and charitable and noncharitable tax-exempt organizations.

She received her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was the Projects and Production Editor of T he Virginia Tax Review. She received a bachelor's degree cum laude from the University of Richmond with a major in political science.

Ms. Rankin is a member of the Taxation and Real Property & Probate Law Sections of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Taxation and Probate & Trust Sections of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Allegheny County Tax Society and the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
