A. Barbara Rankin, or as most of us know her, AB (no dots), has served as an OC director from 1986 to present. She served as OC's Vice President from 1986 to 1993, and as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1993 to present. Her current term began in 2007, and expires in 2010.

As the Board's chairman, AB serves as a member of all of the Board's committees. She is the current Secretary/Treasurer of Little Brazil Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OC.

AB is the Treasurer at the City of Unalaska and has worked there for 31 years. She serves as a member of the Municipal Finance Officers Association of Alaska, and has served on the Iliuliuk Family and Health Services Board of Directors, the Unalaska/Port of Dutch Harbor Chamber of Commerce, and the Bering Sea Art Exchange International.

Barbara offered to lend her expertise as a parent of two successful college students, one an undergraduate at Princeton, and the other in the doctoral program at the University of Southern California, Thornton School of Music, having already earned his Masters of Music at Yale.
