    Admission Counsellor

Aarti Rana joined Quest University Canada's Office of Admission and Enrollment Services as an Admission Counsellor in July of 2006.She is a recent graduate of Bennington College in Vermont, where she studied Literature and Social Science as well as modern dance, film and radio production, Spanish, mathematics and web design.Born in India, Aarti grew up in southern Ontario and moved to Vermont to attend a college that would enable her to pursue an interdisciplinary education.

Invested in cross-cultural exchanges of ideas and resources, Aarti has interviewed immigrants in small-town Vermont, taught computer classes in Mayan Guatemala, conducted research on women's lives in India and organized music and art shows in fundraising efforts for a South African township. She is also the co-founder of Pilot, an illustrated literary magazine for emerging artists in the Greater Toronto region.

If I were able to go back and be a Quest student, my question would be: "Narrating our selves: how do the stories we tell affect who we are?"

To contact Aarti, you can email her at aarti.rana@questu.ca or call her at 604.898.8000 or our toll free number in North America 1.888.QUEST.08 (1.888.783.7808).
