Michael L. Rakieten , a former marketing executive at Tanisys Technology Inc. and Dell Computer Corp. , is awaiting hearings on the indictments this month.A trial date hasn't been set.
Rakieten , 38 , lives in Round Rock.He declined to comment and referred questions to his attorneys.

Rakieten most recently was vice president of Saison Produkt , a wholly owned subsidiary of Saison Electronics Ltd. of Hong Kong that set up its U.S. headquarters two years ago in Austin.Saison makes cable and wire harnesses , wiring components for electronics manufacturers and power protection devices.
Saison Produkt was forced to leave its 25 , 000-square-foot space in Park 96 Service Center on Dessau Road in January and since has gone out of business.
We got locked out of our building , says Tak Nishimura , former director of Saison Produkt and son of Saison CEO Hajime Nishimura.He [ Rakieten ] had signed a lease for five years. ... So we got stuck in this lease we couldn't pay on , and the landlord , the real estate company , wasn't willing to renegotiate with us.We went months into debt.
He [ Rakieten ] generated zero revenue.For the whole time he was employed and ran operations , we lost money every month..
Saison Produkt , which employed six or seven people at its peak , lost more than $ 1 million , Nishimura says.

But Rakieten had no experience in the development of product lines , handling customers , implementing the office area , Lovett says.

Rakieten is the registered agent for a Texas company called Cosmic Gadgets LLC , according to state documents.
