Mr Abid Q. Raja is studying for an MSc in Research Methods in Psychology at the University of Oxford. After obtaining his Law degree in Norway (CandJur), he has practiced as a litigator for two years. He also holds a CandMag degree in Criminology. Currently, he represents the Norwegian National Crime Prevention Council, being an expert on the prevention of crime among youngsters. Previously, he has been a member of the Student Parliament at the University of Oslo, Vice President of the Pakistani Student Society in Norway, President of the University of Oslo Buddy program, member of the governmental contact committee between foreigners and politicians, spokesman for the largest mosque in Norway, and one of the members behind the construction of a centre for combating racial discrimination in Oslo.
