  PATRICK J. QUINN, P.ENG.President
  
  Patrick Quinn is co-founder of Quinn Dressel Associates, one of Canada's foremost structural engineering firms, responsible for many award-winning landmark buildings throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
  
  Quinn has more than 40 years of experience in structural consulting engineering and was involved in the development of highperformance concrete in Canada, the design of load-testing methods for cladding, and the use of many other structural innovations.
  
  First elected to PEO Council in 1996, Quinn was elected Vice President in 1997, and President-elect from 1998 to 1999, becoming President from 1999 to 2000 and Past President the following year.
  
  A fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering and of the Institution of Civil Engineers of Ireland, life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and honorary life member of Women in Science and Engineering, Quinn has served on the boards of corporations, societies and organizations.
