Gary joined Connolly Corporate Finance in January 2001 from Inishowen Capital Partners, a US based technology focused hedge fund where he was vice president and senior analyst.Gary was formerly Head of Sales for Auditone, a niche healthcare firm and had a strategic advisory role with Parking Partners, a wireless technology company.

Gary has worked on a number of private placements including Vordel and Parking Partners and has experience in a wide range of cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including the acquisition of Riskforce by GEP and the acquisition of Inspired Technology Group by Leisure Link.

Gary's experience includes international joint ventures (Metromedia Inc with PAIX Ireland and Intralot Greece with Intralot Ireland) and restructuring advice for World Telecom and Trinity Technology.Gary has also worked on various syndicated financings for the Digicel Group.Gary has particular experience in the wireless and health sectors.Most recently, Gary was involved in the acquisition bids for NTL and Meteor Mobile, which had a combined value of €725 million .

Gary, a graduate of the University College Cork with an MBA from Trinity College Dublin, is also a guest lecturer on both the Trinity College Dublin and UCD Smurfit Business School MBA programmes.
