Janet has been a member of the SWCC since the Spring of 2000.A native of Connecticut, she was born in Hartford and in her early childhood moved to Windsor Locks where she attended school.She attended Hilliard College and U of H applying her studies in medical research.She was later employed by Hamilton Standard working on Jet Fuel Controls in Design Engineering.She also sold real estate in Windsor Locks.For the last 25 years she has worked in the petroleum industry representing several major oil companies and has specialized in industrial metalworking oils, aqueous-based coolants and lubricants.She is a member of the American Society of Lubrication Engineers and presently is a senior field lubrication consultant for G. H. Berlin Oil Company.She has lived in South Windsor for the past 23 years with her husband, Arthur, who also donates his time as the videographer for the SWCC.She and her husband are members of St. Margaret Mary Church and she has sung in the church choir for several years.She and her husband currently have 2 dogs, fish, and enjoy observing wildlife.Her hobbies include stain glass work, painting, photography, golf and sailing.
