Emily Queenan, MD, joined Westside Health Services at Brown Square as a resident in 2004.She earned her M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her B.A. in Biology from Williams College in Williamstown, MA in 1998.
Dr. Queenan has previous experience as an AmeriCorps member, working in the pediatrics department of Hudson River HealthCare, a network of community and migrant health centers in the Hudson Valley, NY.There she worked on developing a clinic-based early literacy program, an asthma home-visiting education program, and a computer based immunization tracking system.
Dr. Queenan's special clinical interests include family-centered maternity care, and practice improvement in urban health.
