Mrs. Quast died Saturday , March 11 , 2000 at her daughter's home in Madison.

She was born March 15 , 1914 to John and Della ( Kindle ) Klinkhammer in Long Prairie.She grew up in Long Prairie and graduated from Long Prairie High School.She married Leander Quast Aug.31 , 1937 in Long Prairie.She then moved to Litchfield and worked at Litchfield Produce for many years.She was a member of the Church of St. Philip , Daughters of Isabelle and the Golden Age Club.She enjoyed visiting and growing flowers and tomatoes.

She was preceded in death by her husband , Leander ; her parents ; one sister , Bernice Buhl ; and two grandchildren.
