Mr. Quandt is a criminal defense litigator with experience at both the state and federal levels. Prior to arriving at the firm, Mr. Quandt was a trial deputy with the Contra Costa County Public Defender's office. While representing hundreds of indigent clients, Mr. Quandt became a seasoned trial attorney, having achieved numerous defense verdicts in cases ranging from homicide, assault and battery, theft, domestic disputes, and alcohol and drug related prosecutions. At the federal level, Mr. Quandt has successfully defended clients charged with conspiracy, drug trafficking, securities fraud and environmental code violations.
Since joining the private bar, Mr. Quandt has also gained substantial civil litigation experience. He has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in real estate litigation, real estate transactions, complex business litigation, personal injury, collection actions and contract disputes.
Mr. Quandt graduated from Hastings College of Law in 1999 where he excelled in the Advanced Trial Advocacy and Appellate Advocacy programs. He graduated with honors from the University of California at San Diego. He speaks conversational Spanish and Italian, partly as a result of playing and coaching professional baseball throughout Europe.
