ATHOL - Alphonse "Al" F. Quader, 80, of 287 Intervale Ave., died Sunday morning, Nov. 23, 2003 in the Athol Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.He was born in Athol on Jan. 20, 1923, the son of the late John and Pauline (Simonis) Quader and lived here all of his life.He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II.He was a longtime communicant of the Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol and a member of the Athol Knights of Columbus, the AARP and Athol Golden Agers.He was a former member of the Ellinwood Country Club and enjoyed playing cribbage and fishing.
