No one on the Chinese mainland has been found to be suffering from AIDS, said Cao Qing, leader of a AIDS investigating team.
Cao noted that four Chinese hemophiliacs were found to be HIV positive after receiving blood products imported from the United States.

China has said that none of the 25 confirmed HIV cases originated on the mainland.
To date, one Chinese citizen has died from HIV/AIDS, which he received while he was in the United States.
