Prof. A.K. Puri has been an accomplished management teacher, corporate trainer and academic administrator.He is a member of the Board of Governors in a couple of educational institutes.He brings to FIIB, a wealth of strong management and leadership qualities successfully demonstrated during his 32 years of service, 14 years in industry and 18 years in academics at senior positions.Prior to this, he was associated with FORE School of Management and Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.Prof. Puri has conducted a large number of Management Development Programmes both for private and public organisations.He has organized Faculty Development Programmes for faculty of business schools.

He is the Chairman of the Delhi State Centre of Indian Institute of Bridge Engineers and Advisor to the Centre and State Governments on Highway and Infrastructure Development and former DG Border Roads. He is a fellow of the Institute of Engineers, Indian Institute of Bridge Engineers, Indian Geo-Technical Society & NITHE and a member of the Board of Governors, ECI. He was awarded the Param Vashisht Seva Medal and the Ati Vasisht Seva Medal by the President of India for his distinguished service to the Nation.]
