Jeff has extensive expertise in healthcare material management and purchasing for one of the nation's largest for-profit hospital firms.
His 30+ years of experience includes supply-chain "Best Practices" for international hospitals in England, Spain & Switzerland as well as within the US.
Jeff's position as Vice President of Spectrum's Expense Division will assure clients of optimum expense management oversight.
Prior to joining Spectrum Oversight Advisors, Jeff established and served as CEO for a European Group Purchasing Organization (GPO); managed all material management aspects nationwide for a multi-hospital organization; trained Material Managers in over 18 new hospitals; and designed and implemented appropriate supply cost reporting procedures for budgeting purposes and pro-active cost control.
He is also experienced in the construction of acute care hospitals / medical office buildings and outpatient clinics, managing and implementing all aspects of contract negotiations for new construction.
Jeff further managed and implemented the redesign and installation of telecommunications systems for these facilities.
In addition to the foregoing, Jeff assisted in the development of software that analyzed hospital purchase history and contracts, providing facilities with the ability to not only recover overpayments but analyze and model contracts proactively.
He established and implemented guidelines for benchmarking and targeting customer service in multi-hospital settings, including fill rates, stock-outs, JIT and department owned inventory, while implementing stockless purchasing strategies in appropriate departments.
