Myra Pryce, Team Manager, Powys County Council

Myra Pryce is Team Manager of the Older and Disabled Person's Team in Newtown, Powys.She first began working within the social care sector in 1986 when she joined Powys County Council as a Family Aide working with service users with a learning disability.From 1986 -1994, she worked in a variety of posts with all service user groups before taking two years away from work to complete her DipSW.In 1996 she returned to work with Powys County Council as a Social Worker with older and disabled people, then in August 2001, she became a Senior Practitioner and in August 2002, Team Manager of the Older and Disabled Person's Team in Newtown Powys.

Myra says, "I have, since 1986, seen many changes in all aspects of the work I undertake, structure of the Department, along with changes in policy and procedures and the law.
