Abigail was born to parents Honoria and Joseph, their second, and last, child.
...
They already had another daughter, Tabitha, who was two years older then Abigail.

Abigail went through her young life, attending school, and learning how to make her way in society, guided by her mother.

When she was fifteen, she left home for the first time to attend the Gorman-Weber college for girls.She focused on interstellar law and political science, two areas that interested her greatly, much to the bewilderment of her mother, who had no purpose in life other then to be an ornament.

Whenever she graduated from the school, she was almost all the way to a law degree.She joined the Federation Diplomatic Corps, where she finished out her degree.In 2356, she went on to the Advanced School, to get full training in Intergalactic Law and Diplomacy.

In 2358, she officially joined the Diplomatic Corps, and was assigned as the Diplomatic Attaché to the Vulcan Ambassador.

She stayed on Earth, primarily, for the next four years, learning her way around the diplomatic world that she found herself.She discovered, to her satisfaction, that she seemed to be made for this life, and excelled in whatever it was she put her hand to her.The early training given to her by her mother also helped her out enormously, giving her the confidence to move in various circles, speaking to people with little to no preparation.

The only place where her life seemed less then perfect was her social life - friends, lovers, things of this nature.Abigail did not seem to form any lasting attachments, but kept her eye out for the people that could, one way or another, help her succeed at her life.Whether this was by using them in some fashion, or staying strictly away from them if she deemed them socially inferior to her, she did it, and with a pleasant face.

By the time she was given an assignment with a Roving Ambassador to the Alpha Quadrant, she had favorably impressed her superiors many times over with her decisive action and level headed thinking, but all of them also had a file of complaints on her, by her peers, and those working under her.

Because of this, hoping somehow to teach the woman to interact as favorably with her peers as she did those she was assigned to as a Diplomat, her superiors assigned her first to an Ambassador traveling around the Alpha Quadrant, then when that failed to do any good, to one traveling the Gamma Quadrant.

So far, their experiment has not been successful.She still keeps her eye out for the better chance, and will take it, no matter who is in her way.She has developed the ability to assess someone's "social standing" with one glance at their clothing, deportment, speech, and things of this nature, and will act accordingly.

Because of this, she does not have many people that she would name friends.Those she works with admire her for her job performance, but it goes no further then that.

When asked, any of them will gladly volunteer the opinion "What a bitch."

In 2380, Abigail was assigned to the Alabama, which was posted to the Gamma Quadrant.While her staff was traveling from planet to planet aboard the Runabout Gulf Coast , contact was lost with the Alabama.She came across the Miranda, and after a time, elected to stay aboard the Pathfinder-Class starship.

Personality Profile: Abigail can be pleasant when she needs to be.If she wants something from you, or if you are a certain rank or standing, then she is nothing is not sweetness and light.However, if not, then ... she's not.If she deems that someone is below her, then there is nothing that will change her mind in the subject.

She is at all times civil, however, and does not stoop to back biting, or things of this nature.You would just be below her notice, and therefore, unimportant.

Special Notes: Abigail does not like animals, and she likes children on a case by case basis.She does not extend her social ranking to children, however.Not until they grow up.

She has a tattoo on her hip bone, that her and some girlfriends from college all got one night before graduation.
