Officer Shane Pruitt began his law enforcement career in 1992 with the Mt. Holly Police Department in Mt. Holly, North Carolina.He has served with the Olathe Police Department since 1995 where he began his career as a Patrol Officer.In 1999, Officer Pruitt was transferred to the Investigations Division as an Evidence Technician.He has also served as a Field Training Officer and as a member of the Olathe Police Department Tactical Support Unit.Officer Pruitt was assigned to the Johnson County Regional Police Academy as a full-time staff instructor in January of 2005.
