Jeannie Provo-Petersen practices primarily in the areas of automobile insurance law, including liability, no-fault, coverage, uninsured and underinsured motorist, as well as general casualty law.Jeannie has developed an expertise in successfully defending clients in the automobile arena, particularly in the areas of no-fault and liability defense.She assists clients in containing current claims, while also serving as a resource in preventing and controlling future claims and losses.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Jeannie was a paralegal with the firm and has 12 years of paralegal experience working in the areas of personal injury (plaintiff and defense), medical malpractice, construction and property litigation, collection, criminal defense and workers' compensation (employer and employee).She was recently named a Rising Star by Minnesota Law and Politics and co-chairs the firm's Automobile No-Fault Group.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jeannie was a paralegal for 12 years working in the areas of automobile insurance, personal injury (plaintiff and defense), medical malpractice, construction and property litigation, collection, criminal defense and workers' compensation (employer and employee).She has been twice nominated as a Super Lawyer and named a "Rising Star" four times by Minnesota Law & Politics.Jeannie was the editor of the 1995 and 2000 editions of The Minnesota Motor Vehicle Insurance Manual and frequently speaks at various insurance and continuing legal education seminars on various aspects of automobile liability, first party claims and insurance fraud.Jeannie graduated cum laude from William Mitchell Law School, and obtained her undergraduate degree at Hamline University majoring in political science and legal studies.
