Nurse of the Year: Linda Poulin, registered nurse at Harrington Memorial Hospital, Southbridge.She is actively involved in the hospital's disaster-awareness team and specializes in nuclear, biological and chemical exposure.

Health Education Coordinator Linda M. Poulin said the hospital began offering the stress classes after an assessment of community needs and increased acceptance of holistic health measures by the public.Another four-class Life Skills for Stress program will begin April 23.The fee of $45 includes all materials.For details, call the Health Education Resource Center at (508) 765-3050.Other programs offered by the hospital include cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes education, baby-sitter training, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid, prenatal and newborn care, a weekly drop-in meditation program and therapeutic massage, Reiki and reflexology.
