    Parker B. Potter, Jr. - Adjunct Professor, Franklin Pierce Law Center

    Parker Potter graduated from Washington & Lee University in 1979 with a double major in English and French. Before starting law school he earned a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Brown University and worked as a historical archaeologist for the State of New Hampshire. He also taught anthropology part-time at Plymouth State College. He earned his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center, in Concord, New Hampshire, in 1999. While at Franklin Pierce, he was editor-in-chief of the Law Center's intellectual property law journal, IDEA, and represented the school in the three moot court competitions, one each in health law, trademark law, and trial advocacy. He also served as a student attorney in the Law Center's Criminal Practice Clinic, representing indigent criminal defendants in the Concord District Court. In addition, he worked for a small private law firm in Manchester, New Hampshire and for New Hampshire Legal Assistance, which provides legal services in civil matters for low-income clients. He spent two years as a law clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court.
