Potter, who has lived in the area all his life, rounds out his income working part-time ("primarily weekends and evenings") as an office manager for a small law firm.He also owns three rental properties.As to his domestic life, Potter said, "How do I word this?I'm happily divorced.I've been married twice."He explained that he and his former spouses, who came with youngsters, differed as to child-raising beliefs and practices.
Gibbs lives in the Renton home she and her husband built 22 years ago.She's a 58-year-old lifelong Washingtonian and Republican who traces her GOP roots back to the Civil War era, when her great-great-grandfather "crossed over from North Carolina to fight with Lincoln's army."She helped manage the family construction business and taught voice and piano lessons out of her home.These days she works as a real estate agent.
