David Potter - Director of Botanical Research and Cultivation Mr Potter has twenty-three years research and development experience as a horticulturalist and agronomist.After brief contracts with the Ministry of Agriculture, he joined a multinational petrochemicals company in 1976 testing novel pesticides and plant growth regulants in glasshouse and field grown crops.Mr Potter was a Senior Assistant Scientist before becoming Head of Security and Estate Services in 1993.

Prior to joining GW in 1998 as its first employee, Mr Potter worked as an independent consultant in the registration of novel pesticides.Mr Potter is a Chartered Biologist, a Member of the Institute of Biology and a Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health.
