TeamBath athlete Adam Potter joins Jason Gardener in the Norwich Union Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the forthcoming World Indoor Championships.

"I,m really excited, it will be a good experience for me," said Potter, who hadn,t originally planned to compete indoors this season."It,s a great start to the year for me."
Potter graduated from the University of Bath last year with a degree in Coach Education and Sports Development, after previously completing an HND in Coach Education and Sports Performance.
He arrived at the University of Bath as a long jumper and switched to the 400m after showing a real aptitude for the event running in the University relay squad.He has been called up by GB twice already this season and won the 400m B race at the Norwich Union Grand Prix in Birmingham at the weekend.
Since switching to 400m he has won a European under,23 gold in the 4x400m relay in 2001 and took a bronze medal in the British Universities 4x400m team at the World University Games in South Korea last year.
Potter is a member of the City of Bath Athletics Club, as well as of Woodford Green & Essex Ladies.He has recently started work as a mathematics teaching assistant at a school in Bournemouth, and he still returns to Bath to train at the University.
