   Elizabeth Pottenger has been active in natural health and healing for the last thirty years, as well as receiving her BS in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude).She has done visual therapy for children with learning difficulties, set up Individual Education Programs for home schoolers, as well as doing Nutritional Counseling, while educating her two sons at home.She received her Teacher Training in Natural Eyesight Improvement under Thomas Quackenbush in The Netherlands and is a certified Bates Vision Instructor of Natural Eyesight Improvement.Most of her tutelage is through private instruction, in person or through phone consultation, yet she also holds group classes and varying length workshops for people of all ages and diverse visual issues.In addition, she is trained to implement a Light Color Balancing Program, which uses light and colors to open up energy blockages through the eyes, thereby increasing peripheral vision and health.
   
   Elizabeth's own vision has been quite good, yet she had noticed occasional difficulties with her close vision during stressful situations, such as moving, a job change, or fatigue.During her training not only did this diffusion clear, but a hearing problem she has had since childhood went away completely.
   
   The Latin root for educate is "to draw out".Natural Eyesight Improvement has helped thousands of people improve their vision and as a vision educator Elizabeth simply draws out of each individual what they innately know: How to see!
   
   With her sons at university, she and her husband are enjoying the empty nest by traveling, attending the opera in Nashville, listening to NPR, reading, hiking, taking dance lessons and exploring consciousness and quantum physics.
