Jonathon, 27, a Métis/Cree who resides in Edmonton, Alberta.Jonathon is proud of his Métis ancestry of Red River, Alberta and cultural heritage as a Cree from Sawridge, Alberta.His life has been enriched by the traditions and teachings of both cultures.Jonathon recently graduated from Concordia University College of Alberta with a major in Sociology and a minor in Canadian Studies.

A passionate advocate, Jonathon was the Executive Director of the Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth, an organization that provides a voice for urban Aboriginal youth.He gives workshops on holistic health and wellness and the Medicine Wheel.His message is "All your dreams can come true; all you have to do is wake up."

Jonathon has been accepted for an Internship to the University of Canberra, Australia conducting research on the impact of globalization on Indigenous peoples.
