Madelyn Porter, Native of Boston, MA and a resident of Detroit, MI, is a graduate of Western Michigan University and currently a graduate student at Wayne State University.Ms. Porter is Co-founder of MYSS Theatre Productions, and Street-Life Theatre Company.She has performed with many regional theatres including the Detroit Repertory Theatre, Plowshares Theatre, The Attic Theatre, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Thick Knot Productions, Missouri Repertory Theatre, The Afro-American Studio Theatre, Young Audiences of Michigan, and Henry Ford's Historic Greenfield Village.She also freelances as a comedian.Madelyn works as director and instructor for Young Audiences of Michigan, The City of Detroit Empowerment Zone, and Hamtramck School District.
