I’m Director of Workforce Development and Human Resources for a mid-size metro area economic development agency in PA. I research, develop, implement, manage and obtain funding for workforce development initiatives, oversee human resources and diversity task forces and programs and consultant with members and prospective clients on HR, labor and skill requirements, pre-employment training programs and recruitment.

Additionally, I work to connect companies to federal and state job training programs, provide labor and demographic data to prospective clients, develop and facilitate innovative partnerships between the business and education community to meet workforce needs and focus on attracting employers, creating quality employment opportunities and retaining skilled workers.

I sit on several education, diversity and workforce related boards and advisory committees and frequently speak on job seeking, recruitment and retention strategy, relationship building and the use of new media in HR.
